The Dotsama Ecosystem, Web3 (August 31st, 2022) — Although blockchain technology is only several years old & picking up immense steam, centralized networks & technical stacks are still more popular than their decentralized counterparts. A major reason for this is that blockchain networks, and the data stored on them, can be complicated and slow to access. This is why the team at InvArch is extremely happy to share that they are partnering with SubQuery to make intuitive & fast data indexing solutions available to developers building on the InvArch Network & Tinkernet Parachain!

InvArch Network

InvArch is a leading-edge layer-1 blockchain that is built to support & empower the future creator economy by providing a new foundation through its powerful NFT primitives & DAO solutions. InvArch is designed not just to allow new products of development to take flight but also to change how individuals & teams can develop together. Built on the Substrate blockchain framework & designed to launch on the Polkadot ecosystem as a Parachain.

The Tinkernet Parachain is the canary network of the InvArch Network, designed as the IP Asset & accelerated development staging grounds for the Kusama ecosystem. The Tinkernet serves a trio of testing purposes, one for the developers who maintain the network, one for the developers who build on top of the network, and one for the end-users of dApps & applications in the ecosystem.

SubQuery Network

SubQuery is a blockchain developer toolkit facilitating the construction of Web3 applications of the future. A SubQuery project is a complete API to organize and query data from Layer-1 chains. Currently servicing Polkadot, Substrate, Avalanche, Algorand, Terra, and Cosmos (starting with Juno) projects, this data-as-a-service allows developers to focus on their core use case and front-end without wasting time building a custom backend for data processing activities. In the future, the SubQuery Network intends to replicate this scalable and reliable solution in a completely decentralized manner.

The InvArch Network Integrating With SubQuery Network

SubQuery is an excellent technical solution that quickly indexes and analyzes data at speeds comparable to and superior to Web2 counterparts. The open source origin of the project and its decentralization contribute to the stability of the network, providing almost 100% uptime and easy configurations.

Fast and easy access to data is essential for the InvArch network to provide a revolutionary new world for developers to build leading-edge dApps. Immediately after Tinkernet started producing blocks on the Kusama network, the InvArch team focused on integrating SubQuery solutions for NFT primitives stored on-chain. This was fast and efficient, thanks to the open-source code and outstanding technical support from the SubQuery team!

“The SubQuery team was very helpful. They supported me and answered my questions through the entire initial development process. The documentation is some of the best in Dotsama and the cherry on top was the super helpful youtube tutorials by James Bayly!” — Jake Edwards (InvArch, Rust Engineer)

As the ultimate layer-1 for the future creator economy, InvArch will have a vast amount of data stored on-chain. A large load of this data will be indexed & need to be referenced quickly, whether for the sake of on-chain analytical tools or superpowered dApps built using InvArch’s INV4 protocol. This is where SubQuery makes a huge difference!

Different dApps developed on InvArch & Tinkernet will benefit from SubQuery’s native Polkadot & Kusama integrations, thanks to the shared security and native interoperability provided by the Polkadot & Kusama relays. The indexing and query services for InvArch and Tinkernet are completely managed by SubQuery and provided to the Polkadot community for free in SubQuery’s Explorer. You can play around with it using the explorer without implementing any code.

IP sets are indexed by SubQuery and available for data exploration and fast querying. Here you can see information about an IP set as well as the IP files that it holds.

From the other end, you can also query information about individual IP files, such as their IPFS hash or what IP set they are inside, if any.

Stay up-to-date with the teams. Follow the @InvArchNetwork & @SubQueryNetwork on Twitter & be the first to hear more about their exciting projects!
